Elizabeth Richardson Center

About

The Elizabeth Richardson Center is the most comprehensive provider of disability services in Northwest Arkansas. What began in 1963, in the basement of a Fayetteville church, has grown to include ten locations that serve over 500 children and adults with disabilities each year.
ERC's five Child Development Centers serve children from six weeks to five years of age who have been diagnosed with a developmental delay or disability, such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, seizure disorders, etc. Each center provides speech, physical and occupational therapy as part of a full-day developmental program. An on-site nurse is also available for children with special medical needs. The ERC Child Development Centers are located in Fayetteville, Farmington, Springdale, Huntsville and Siloam Springs.
For adults with disabilities, ERC provides vocational training, job placement, independent living options, community involvement and recreational opportunities. We also provide life skills classes, including cooking, art, dance, money management, personal hygiene, etc. Our goal is to provide the support needed so that our clients can live as independently as possible.
