Worked some more on southern entry to SBAT Trail from Trafalgar to Pinion Creek crossing. Shored-up new rock ‘wall’ off Avenby and added a rock line opposite the ‘wall’ to better define the entry line. Put a bit more gravelly ‘creek sand’ on this small section also.

Worked on the South entry to the SBAT Trail to better define the route to the Pinion Creek crossing. Also began building a rock wall to mark where the trail drops from the dirt lane down into the creek.
Removed limbs, etc. and large rocks from SBAT Trail. Scratched open a few drains too.
Did a trash pickup hike on Rago Trail from Commonwealth crossing by Metfield Park proceeding west-northwest for 1.5 miles.
Filled a bag with homeowner trash (flower pots, paint bucket lid, faded label beer & soda cans, deteriorated styrofoam cups, etc) and only two items that might have come from the racers, a single glove and a fresh looking granola bar wrapper.
Tried to shore up washout crossing on Rago Trail where a hole threw me yesterday
Shored up a couple of washouts on the Rago Trail Creek crossings along Euston Road
Worked on test of SBAT Trail from Taylor Homestead intersection to Back40 Intersection at Bear Hollow. Two of the deeper ravine crossings needed some rock fill which I did and tried to make it firm. The one near the wettest part of the SBAT May need a tile under the trail in the creek bottom.
The ‘chute’ that drops down north of Lancashire is a bit washed and chunky and probably needs some new gravel to get it smoother.
Checked for downed trees and wash-outs on SBAT Trail from its southern origin by Trafalgar to its intersection with the Taylor Homestead Trail.
Smoothed some mildly eroded areas, removed limbs, twigs, large rocks, etc. and smoothed and shored up several minor wash-outs. Still need to remove the top of a fallen tree that partially encroached on the trail but this southern portion of the SBAT Trail is ready to ride (saw 3 riders already out in it this morning)
Worked at clearing limbs etc on SBAT Trail from Skipton Lane crossing to Bedford crossing.
Tried to shore-up tricky ravine crossing where water had cut a deep ‘ditch’ on the downhill edge of the crossing.
